Some Ass Bumped My Car

I come here again, which it is not a good thing for me. Everytime we come here, we know something has infuriated us lol. This time is my car, well it is not my car fault actually...

A few days ago some ass bumped my car while I was on a highway. He forgot to hit the brake and bumped hard my car. He made my car's rear bumper and baggage door dented. The door was still usable but it did not work properly due to the bumper displacement.

So I had a quick feud with the ass, but I cut it short and ask for compensation. He could only pay for around 15 USD, which that day I believed it was impossible to cover the repair cost.

There were some reason why I took that compensation and left that ass a.s.a.p

1. I stopped my car in the middle of highway, in front of his car. It was not a wise move, but I knew if I did not do that, he might ran/drove away quickly. It was not safe either, because anytime, some speedy idiot might crashed us lol.
2. He admitted he made a mistake due to playing with his son. I had a belief that if someone admitted his mistake and asked for forgiveness, I should stop my action and not mad or scolding him anymore.
3. He was with his toddler and a young woman who should be his wife. The kid was crying seeing I was mad at his dad. Even I believed I had all the right to mad at that ass, I did not want to be some other ass who gave some bad experience to any children.

So I let him go easily, as much I was disappointed for the result, I was happy I did not turn myself into someone I did not want to be.

So earlier today I decided to have my car repaired... the bad thing was I had no money, not literally zero but my client postponed another payment so I haven't got my fund for this month.

I asked for some references from a driver in my neighborhood for a cheap and dependable workshop, and he gave me some. So I came to the nearest one.

I came as their second customer today, so they worked on my car right away. They had one of their best repairman and he came with some hair drier and a crowbar. I had a thought in my mind... "WTF this cavemen will do to my car"

Then he used a long handspike. Turned out he had many rusted tools that were custom made for him. A long screwdriver, a crowbar, a handspike, a steel hammer that he had some cloth covering the head, a socket wrench... all were rusted lol

after seeing him working for fifteen minutes, I changed my perception on this caveman. I admitted I was wrong, I should not underestimate him due to his outfit and appearance. Well literally the workshop owner woke him, and he walked to my car and started doing his job... My impression was either he was a beggar or a caveman...

But this man knew what he needed to do and he fix the dented bumper within twenty minutes. He knew well that there were some steel bracket behind the fiberglass bumper that he needed to fix it first so the bumper could be align well again. Then he fixed the baggage door using that hammer, all by sensing with hands and using those rusted custom tools.

The work was finished in thirty minutes. Overall what he did was far from proper but the result was very good. This was the only fix I could afford with around 30 USD budget. Well at least I have my car shape back to normal again.

Anyway tomorrow I might not be able to do 1000 HPUD due to my fund was used for this repair lol.
