SATURDAY SAVERS CLUB - What L2 Token Should Be The Next One

Welcome to my weekly #saturdaysavers post, a frequent saving update I make every week as my s a participation in Saturday Savers Club. #saturdaysavers club is saving club, so you can expect our activities are all about sharing our saving updates, and it can go all the way whether it is on HIVE or outside HIVE including in our real world asset.

XV token journey is finally over in happy ending, everyone is getting their profit. so Congratulations guys, you have made it!!

However it is not only XV token that has ended their operation, there is another one, $INCOME token, which has ended their operation. Currently they are buying back their token near 13 $HIVE per token. $INCOME is one of the tokens that gave the highest yield or APR in the past, so it's kind of sad to see it over but it's happy to see they ended it in the right way, which everyone should be happy due to the profit.

So it leaves me one big question, which Layer 2 token will be the next one? Should I seek the new one which has the highest potential, or I should focus my investment to the tokens that look promising.

We still have EDSI, DAB, DUO and LGN that keep getting us good return. I exclude BRO and LENM not because they are underperforming, but more like to benefit from these two, you need to utilize liquidity pools and not everyone can win some profit from it.

OK maybe I should venture to some younger tokens such as PAKX and PANDAMINER, that should be fun right? Both look promising with their pros and cons, although both are looked pretty much similar.

So any suggestion or feedback about this one? I have bought some EDSI and DUO to increase my weekly $HIVE drop, regarding both of them has been performing above 12% APR which is incredible regarding original curation reward should be around 9-10% only.

Ok that's for today chit chat, Now let's see my saving update here..

PRIMARY TARGET : HBD SAVING

My primary goal is to grow my $HBD Saving, to reach 5.000 $HBD Saving in this year, 2025. That is an ambitious target regarding I started 2025 with 0 $HBD. Mathematically this means I need to get $95 HBD every week.

I have 80 $HBD saving right now. You can see I have some extra 21 liquid $HBD there, I think next week I will make an excuse to send all my liquid $HBD into my saving, to round the saving up to 100 $HBD.

Let's say my Splinterlands Conclave Arcana edition purchase must wait a week later.

I don't know how long this 10 $HBD saga will continue, but I should be ok with this regarding I haven't taken any $HBD saving out for around 2 months. Things are not in good way, but still have improved better so I do not have to bleed my saving here.

SECONDARY TARGET : HIVE POWER (HP)

Hive Power (HP) is very important for all Hivers who plan to stay long on this blockchain. For 2025, my secondary goal is to have 13.500 Hive Power (HP). It's not a big target and I want to make as many people realize that it is important to grow your Hive Power.

I have reached 11.545 HP this week, I need around 1.955 Hive Power to achieve my annual saving target which is 13.500 HP. The number seems very achievable right now, and I think I can accomplish this target before December 2025.

Somehow I got 84 HP last week, a bit surprise for me because I thought it would be somewhere round 60. I think as long I make at least a post with 100% HIVE POWER rewards, my HP growth should be around 80 or above.

However this is not my primary saving target right now, so I think I should let this work like this for a while. Let see what will happens later around the third quarter.
