Saturday Savers Club - Limitless Token Staking

Recently I have been playing Limitless, a Hive game that support $STARBITS in Rising Star Game. This post is not about Rising Star Game or Limitless game, however it is about their tokenomic. Anyway if you wonder what Limitless is, this is their website: https://hivereward.co.uk/limitless/

Ok Limitless is their token and Starbits is the Rising Star Game token. There is a function that I see as something interesting in their game. It is the staking rewards

I see that I have 732 Limitless staked and my earning is 90% APY. There is something wrong in here, have you noticed it?

This is how it is shown after I click the button and get zoomed in. Let me explain why I see it as something wrong. It has a fix rate of 90% APY, not as pool or anything. The APY is extremely high regarding it is a fix rate, not based on some pool dividend or proportional towards some pool or budgetary dividend.

In the pas people will see this as something lucrative for an investment. We lived that life years ago, when DEC had 400$% APY and SPS had 100% APY. This was not about we missed that opportunity, but it is about learning from history, from what has happened in the past.

90% APY definitely will create massive inflation, regardless there are mass adoption or not. So does it mean nobody will make profit from this?

In general it is, none will get the real profit. They get real big opportunity but they will never capitalize it into real profit. However some will be able to do that, with some extra wits.

I believe whole cryptocurrency is working based on Ponzi scheme and we are in race from jumping into one rabit hole into another one. The screenshot I take above is a list of 10 people who might have a chance to make a profit from this staking rewards.

The idea is simple, you need to get in very quickly, in a big volume, and then get out as quick as you can before everything start to fall down. I believe to get benefit from this quick cash grab situation, you need to grow your stake bigger than @methus and @clove71, or in another word, have your stake above 1% of the distribution.

How long the price will last before they start to slide down? Only @speedtuning and @nomaddreamer can answer that.

Well I know this is a game, however we can not take out the tokenomic from Web 3.0 game or blockchain game. It is part of their ecosystem, so playing with the tokens is part of the game too.

Anyway this is just my 2 cents. Feel free to agree or disagree with this, any comments or feedback will be appreciated.

PRIMARY TARGET : HBD SAVING

My primary goal is to grow my $HBD Saving, to reach 5.000 $HBD Saving in this year, 2025. That is an ambitious target regarding I started 2025 with 0 $HBD.

SECONDARY TARGET : HIVE POWER (HP)

Hive Power (HP) is very important for all Hivers who plan to stay long on this blockchain. For 2025, my secondary goal is to have 15.000 Hive Power (HP). It's not a big target and I want to make as many people realize that it is important to grow your Hive Power. I have achieved this target.

I have hit my target, 15.000 Hive Power and I have no will to make a short target for late December 2025. I will wait for the new year and set a new target for 2026. Mostlikely I will put HP back to my primary target, regarding HBD is not working for me.
