Push Your Frontier Campaign To Gold League

Today I want to share you all about my thought for the frontier campaign. Unlike the Modern and Wild rank battle, frontier campaign only give you foundation cards and Frontier lottery entry that might give you a black foundation card.

Basically it will give you some free cards, however those cards are limited up to silver league level cap, or half of the other cards level cap.

Are they great? well not really if you compare them with the core set such as Rebellion and Conclave Arcana. For that reason, I was not really into the Frontier Campaign. I preferred to focus on the wild format regarding my playing time was very limited.

However this time is different, I might share more about frontier or foundation cards.

GETTING TO GOLD LEAGUE

For you who haven't played long in frontier campaign, I could say that getting into Gold League is something that can be said A MUST. For a starter, you can play in bronze league just to familiarize yourself with the foundation cards, however soon you will have to jump into the gold league.

How about Silver? Ok here is the deal. Everyone can enter the Silver League because all you need to do is to beat down some liquidity bots on the bronze league. So there is no solid indicator if someone play properly or not if they play in Silver League... I mean specifically for the frontier campaign, not the rank battles.

So we are talking about the standard here, whether you can play well or not. Yes it is, if you can not enter Gold League it means two things:

1. You are a bad player and you need to gain more experience or some more tricks to make yourself able to beat more human players.
2. Your foundation cards are suck. It sounds rude but it is what it is. You know whether you are competitive with your current foundation cards or not is by testing yourself to get into Gold League. Having all level 1 summoner won't let you enter this league.

Other than those two, there is another solid reason why you need to stay on Gold League. It is the contingency factor.

When you are in gold league, you will get foundation cards but they are not coming to you directly. You will be given a pack in return, so you can keep them for future use. They are the same with chaos legion packs, rebellion packs, conclave arcana packs or any other packs, but they are more like a gladius case because you can not trade them with other players. They are inbound, not tokenized.

Why this is important? because it will let you open them later in future, especially when we have new cards or maybe new edition of foundation cards. It is not recommended to do that if your foundation cards selection is still poor, or far from max level.

now let's check on my inventory here:

oh wow, there are 3 foundation packs in my inventory. I still have 4 tower defense packs and 3 chaos legion packs, and I have no clue what to do with them. Maybe one day they will become extinct or priceless, well who care anyway.

As you can see in my first screen shot above, I am on Gold III league. I feel insecure because sometime I get thrown out from Gold League. Maybe I am a bad player but I believe the root cause is more on my limited selection.

That is why I open all the packs right now!

Overall this is not a great packs opening because we have no legendary gold foil popping out here. However I have got a Gold Foil here, the Twice Yester Knight. It is not a great card however I am gladly accept it.
