My dCity Journal - Sometime Market Goes Unpredictable

Greeting My Fellow dCity Major.

I update my dCity regularly, and during those days or weeks that I am missing or not updating my dCity... it is not because I am inactive. There are a few reasons why we do not update our accounts, but the most common reason or cause is the market.

Sometime the market can go bizzare, the NFT is not available or we run out of them in the market, or maybe somehow people agree to put them on very high price. I really do not know the specific reason, maybe because we can not change the price, so those NFTs are stuck out there LoL

So look at this price

I wanted to buy some Young Citizens yesterday, but none selling those youngster on proper price. 9.488 $SIM, who are going to buy them? That's ridiculous, even you put the price a bit lower, I believe none will buy them too.

Let's take a look on another NFT. Pizzeria at 12.000 $SIM, this is a soft SCAM for me LoL. A few days ago I saw them at 1.400 $SIM.

To put this simple, liquidity has become scarce for some NFT(s). Either this is a good news or bad ones, it differs for every individual in this game.

My DCITY Update

The reason why I bring this issue in my post is to explain why I seem to hesitate pushing up my accounts. Sometime what I need to buy for my dCity, are not something that friendly in the market. Well.. it is not sometime, but most of the time...

This was my account yesterday. I wanted to post this yesterday but I accidentally fell asleep while writing this post. So I had to adjust a few words to make this more proper with today update.

My education point was 102, and a couple weeks ago I said that I needed to breach 200+ point a.s.a.p.

There are two reasons why I believe it is necessary for me to breach that Education point a.s.a.p. The first one is to get a proper education point because we are going to have a new technology acquisition mechanism. There is no official announcement yet, but I believe it will be related to the education point.

The second reason is very simple, I want to be in top 400 leaderboard in Education. It is not because of the $SIM rewards, believe me they are tiny... It is more on selfish ego, I want my dCity looks great. That's all

Yesterday when I wanted to buy some Universities, I could not get it done in proper volume. There were only 2 universities available in the market, I set a red rectangular marker above to show you guys what I mean about it.

Only STEEMSHIRO who were selling them, and the third was 50% higher and I saw it was not worth anymore for the price. So I decided to buy those two and then I felt asleep LoL

I woke up and saw that at least my dCity was still oke like above. And then I went to work... Until now, when I am writing this post...

I see another dude is selling the university. He is RENOVATIO and he only sells one unit.

I have decided to get that one and add a couple of apartment to cover the needed workers to run the University.

This is my notification. I do not make this up.

Conclusion For Today

So this is what my dCity looks right now, the latest one

Everything looks ok except one thing... I have 49 unemployed there. It is a bit higher than what I expect which is 5% from total population or around 45 unemployed. The reason I set a bit higher is to anticipate if a university is available again on the market which of course they are tagged with the proper price.

My Education rank jumps very significantly, from 513 to 467. Soon It can get into top 400, then I can focus o Population or Income. I really want to get back on my track, which is pushing up my Income rank into top 100, or atleast get above @arveno Income point which is above 600 $SIM... But I will be realistic here, if the NFT(s) are not available on the market, what's the point spending $SIM excessively there?
