End Of Season Rewards - Silver to Gold League

Hello Everyone

Another consecutive Splinterlands post today. Yesterday we had the end of season, so everything restarted again at the beginning of the new season. So it's good timing to talk about the rewards I have got in a season.

So everyone has their own End of Season pop up screen like that. I played on the silver league and my highest league tier achieved was Gold II. It was a close one, because I could get onto GOLD I with 40 more points, or 1-2 more wins but I just kept failing in the last day.

The funny thing was the SURVIVAL SPS, I only got 6.592 SPS lol... It is like an insult to me regarding I could get that amount in a single win in the rank battle.

However I could understand the reason behind it. I play on II Bracket, the adept. I only played 17 times regarding no human players in there. Well we had some but less than 20 people if I recalled correctly. The only big question mark I had there was why there were two players who could get 100 battles, and I hardly got a battle... there were days when I could not even get one after waiting for more than 5-6 times.

Ok enough with my rant, so let see the final outcome in SPS..

Over two weeks, I have gathered 1.208 SPS. Please do not count the SPS from Staking rewards and Validator License Rewards. I took them out regularly to swap those SPS into DEC to make sure my Splinterlands account is enough funded for rent and buying some cards.

From the rank battles, I have got 879 SPS. If I convert those SPS to DEC, it would be equally around 7.900 DEC right now. Every season I spend around 3.000 DEC to 4.500 DEC to rent some cards, so indirectly I can say that last season was a nett gain for me, and I even counted out the staking rewards and validator license rewerds.

My SPS staking even was not on effective size, I had less than 50.000 staked SPS so I did not get full rewards nor any multiplying bonuses from the excess staked SPS. However I had many Gold Foil cards so I believed my number was still a bit higher than most Gold League players out there.

If I had something lacking here, it would be my Brawl SPS. I only got 321 SPS, I could not say that this number was a bad one regarding I played on TIER 5 Guild. Yes I played on the highest tier, although my guild was one of the worst there lol. Still... I knew it must have been higher than most Splinterlands players because most people played on TIER 4 Guilds and lowers.

Ok that's my post today. I just wanted to share this to you so you could understand that despite all the bad talk about Splinterlands out there, and this silence we had recently due to lack of people making Splinterlands contents outside HIVE, the game itself is still producing enough rewards.

I know the current Splinterlands is not the same anymore with the old Splinterlands which I know well those days I could get $150-$200 nett income only from playing a single account. The Play to Earn games have evolved, we are no longer get rich quick or second job works anymore, but this way the the game economy is more sustainable.

I know some of you have different opinion than this one. I open to any possibility so feel free to leave your comments and opinions below.

Great season end bro! Splinterlands isn't the game of old for sure when you used to be able to actually earn good money, but it's the same with all play to earn games now. I think the days of get rick quick has long since sailed...

You ended in Gold II, but you still were on the Silver leaderboard. How does that work? Is it all by where you ended last season? I thought when you moved to gold you went to the gold leaderboard? I guess I've never understood how they work!
