Crazy For Cats - My Partner In Crime

Let's talk something else beside food today, but of course it is still related indirectly with my foodie post lol. Usually I go to cafetaria or employee canteen for a cheap meal. Most high profile employees in Indonesia won't even bother about this place, because it set the gap between our status.

However majority still come to this kind of place. During lunch, the place will be very crowded, peaked at noon when everyone have their lunch break.

This place was actually full. Some people come first, take a seat and table and try to shove off people who want to sit there by saying "This one is taken, my friend is on the way to here".

Some even prefer to sit on taken table, because sitting alone in that table could be bothersome. A group of people, maybe three to five, could sit on your next and have their loud conversation dominated the table. Some are like that by nature, some are doing that to shove you off sooner.

I have my own trick when I eat alone there, is by bringing a buddy. If I could not find any human buddy nearby, I will get Mr Gato as my chair mate. This time or that day, I got a a tabby cat, but in Indonesia we called him Kucing Mujair. Mujair is Mozambique Tilapia, and that fish has that kind of pattern in their body.

I let him sit on my next, and this Tabby Cat even was not well trained, he could understand what I wanted him to do. Or maybe I could talk to them you know.

I pushed my bag near him, and he understood that it a sign that I wanted him to pretend sleeping. Well that what I wanted and that what he had to do, sleeping. By sleeping next to me, I could have my lunch peacefully.

What? You do not believe me?

See it for yourself, nobody dared to sit in front of Mr Tabby Cat. Most cats in cafetaria are annoying, they will come to you and begging for food. Some cats even dare to jump up onto the table or scratch your legging or trouser, which is dangerous for offices ladies who wear stocking or legging.

That is why most office ladies would avoid sitting near cats. However they did not know this tabby cat was already full so he wouldn't ask for food.

Each time a person came and ask if the seats were taken or not, what I did was very simple, I moved my bag next to tabby cat and said "be my guess, they are not taken". Those people chose to get another seats after seeing the Mr Tabby Cat sleeping.

And somehow mr tabby cat understood that I wanted him to keep sleeping there.

However everything had its end

After I finished my lunch, I needed to wake up mr Tabby Cat. I gave him the smell of my coffee, a cheap coffee that Lord @arveno and Queen @viviehardika would laugh at me because it only costed around 20% of their daily coffee cup.

Remember guys, cats can not drink coffee, it hurts them even it might kill them. I only gave him the smell, and it would wake him up.

He needed to wake up and walked away, because if I was not there, some women could ask the janitor to shove Mr Tabby Cat with a broom.

Ok Mr Tabby cat, I had to go. This was the time we needed to part ways. So see you next time, on the same place.
