Coffee Presentation That Not Fit Me

I hope you all fine today. I am trying to get back my writing mood and rhythm here, so as usual I will go with something that related with foodie which is a good thing for me to write about. However this time I am sharing you something that bit uncommon for me, based on my experience taking something that is unusual for me too.

It started a couple weeks before I got sick last week, I had several meetings with some old friends. In one of those meetings, I ordered a new drink that had a unique name for me. it a coffee with the name of Pistachio Coffee Latte.

Pistachio was a very viral and trending food in Indonesia, but people here would go for the Pistachio Kunafa chocolate or what we called it as DUBAI Chocolate. When the trend started to flat, people pushed it up again with Pistachio Kunafa bread, Pistachio Kunafa pudding and Pistachio Kunafa Martabak.

So that time was the first time seeing a Pistachio Coffe so I ordered it out of curiosity... And I prepared myself incase the taste was very bad... but I did not prepare myself for the presentation...

I did not anticipate to see they sticked some crushed pistachio peanut on the edge of the glass, glued with some caramel. I did not know if that was common nowadays for young people to have their drinks like this, but for me it was quite disgusting.

It was as if telling people not to drink them directly, drink them using straw. In some region, drinking using Straw is so Gay you know, well it is not in Indonesia, I do not have to tell you which countries hold that custom anyway.

I would be fair here, I could say that the drink had a good taste, regardless their presentation. Maybe it's time for me to prepare myself against more weird presentation for me, because they have become something that cool for people nowadays.
