Building Up Reward Cards Is Not Easy - Rare Draw Bad Luck

It's time for another Splinterlands post in the weeekend. As usual I write a couple of Splinterlands posts every week. Today I am sharing you my activity in grinding, improving, and polishing my Conclave Arcana Reward cards.

I have 209.359 GLINT points now, I am saving those points to get a proper Legendary cards from legendary draw. However I notice people reward cards are getting better so if I postpone a bit longer, my win rate will drop badly.

I can do two option here, first getting 400 common draws or second, I will get 100 rare draws. Those are the two most instant impactful result I could get. I can get 12 Epic draws, but it won't be as effective as the first two options.

Regarding I am a gold foil fray player, I measure my strength primarily based on the gold foil cards I have. I only have 6 Gold foil cards for the Conclave Arcana rewards edition, 5 are the common cards and 1 is the rare card.

There are 12 cards for the common rarity and 12 cards for the rare rarity. So If I play the bronze league gold foil fray, I can say that I have 50% of the common rarity cards and less than 10% for the rare rarity cards. Definitely my rare rarity selection is far left behind. That decides which rarity is my priority right now

I am going for this max first batch for the Rare Draw. 100 cards with a normal 0.5 Gold Foil chance. But I am not that crazy, I will push the chance by some alchemy potion here.

Double my chance with some alchemy boost... So basically with 500 Alchemy potion consumed here, I will have extra 5 times 0.5% or 2.5% more Gold Foil chance. The result should be 3% of gold foil cards, or 3 gold foil cards from this 100 rare cards draw. Less than 3 cards means a bad luck for me today.

I will share the gold foil only from the drawing. and... none

yes I am not joking, I literally have got 0 gold foil here. All are useless regular foil.

However I could not wait idle, like it or not, I have to level up some regular foil in order to not let my rank battles go bad.

Almost all cards can be upgraded at this point, except that Saltwraith Bulkhead. I am not screenshooting all the level up here, only for the cards that I like or frequently used in my battles.

The first one is Grove Doomblade. This one reminds me a lot about Sandworms, a slow sneak attacker but one hit could be lethal. There is no significant gain from leveling one point here, but I hope in long run it helps me maintain my winning rate.

I see Torrent Sniper could be a good boost in my selection. a 2 magic damage snipe attacker, that number is not great but it could help me build up a new attack pattern. Let see in the next 2 weeks if somehow this card would be a good selection.

The third card is this Anchor Hex Adept. This card is like jack of all trades, master of nothing... almost useless but not bad enough to be useless.

A level up here gives this mouse a divine shield ability. He will negate the first damage. So from almost useless, he could be a good semi tank or secondary tank for some ruleset.

I hope I am not wrong here lol

The last one is my favorite, same as Grove Doomblade the first card I talk above, I frequently use Mindless Thrall due to his good 5 speed.

However this time it could be a lot different, because he gets another 1 magic damage. A fast unit with 3 magic damage attack, that's a whole new level for him.

I have some thoughts about what meta he could excell in, and I am eager to use him into those meta.

Well those are the 4 cards I am eager to try out with my rank battles. It is really sad that I have got 0 gold foils from that draw, but I need to move on and plan something new. It is pointless to blame RNG or bad luck, because it gives you nothing in return.
