A Day In My Modern Silver League

Greeting Everyone, Especially Splinterlands Summoners

Today I want to share a short and simple topic about my Splinterlands Journey. I call it a day in my modern silver league.

I am happy playing in Silver League, which my friends might see it weird. Most of my friends play in Diamond-Champion League. They rent the best of the best, some even play some whale accounts as the scholar player.

There are many benefits from playing higher league, but it I have to spill those here, the most important are higher SPS rewards and GLINT. In the end these two will generate massive SPS, which for some people those are money or profit.

How can GLINT generate income? simple by buying loot chest, you can get extra energy from those and you could do more rank battle. More rank battle = more win, more win = more SPS, as simple as that. But you must be realistic here, no matter how good you are, or maybe you are the best player ever, still you can not win 100%.

So here the question... why don't I join them into higher league?

The answer is simple, I am a casual player. There are time that I do not play Splinterlands maybe for days. Many reasons behind it, maybe I am busy with my works, or maybe I am sick. I have autoimmune problems, so sometime I could not play because I need to rest more. If it gets worse, I might only be able to work maybe ten to fourteen days in a month.

How Much Do I Earn In Silver League?

Now this is an interesting question. People such as @thebighiqq and @vaynard86 might already know the answer, but I still share it here because some people such as @ekavieka and my old mentor on Hive Blogging @rqr4 might be curious about it too regarding they often play on Bronze League.

In general, I could get above 4 SPS per win in Silver I League modern rank battle. Yes above 4 SPS, nothing is great about it.

Here another sample of my winning screen. This time is 4.1 SPS a bit lower. As you can see, I have 60% boost from Gold Foil card, that's my perk as Gold Foil players, so of course my average is a bit higher than other Silver League players.

But it is not great anyway, I have seen many people who even have higher SPS reward than me. So let me share a couple of them here.

The first one is ELLACAPITAL. I lost that battle and they get 6.289 SPS. I was very jealous of it lol. Same as me, that person is a gold foil player, maybe he/she has max SPS staked.

The second one is MARKBOYE4. His case was a bit weird, because he had no gold foil cards nor promo cards. He got more than twice of my SPS, it was 9.821 SPS per win. This was like a cheat for me, I had no clue how he got that. Maybe he was already a gold league player that time, but he got matched to me due to low liquidity of players on our rating zone.

Ok so with those two example, I believe I can say 4 SPS per win in Silver League is very achievable. My goal is to win 10x a day, I am not that ambitious getting all 15 wins per day. In a season I only aim to play at least 12 days, I have no luxury to be able to play Splinterlands per day. So the formula will be like this:

12 days playing x 10 wins per day = 120 wins

So I will have 120 wins in a season, and that will set my goal as getting 480 SPS per season. Well the fact is, I always get below 480 SPS per season, because usually the rewards will drop later lol. After we go through half of the season, it will decline and it could go half from what I used to have.

In average, I used to get somewhere around 200-250 SPS per season, that is a reasonable target for any players who play in Silver League. and I exclude the SPS from BRAWL and Tournament. Ha ha sorry if I bring your hope up above from my previous words, if it is as simple like that to get 480 SPS per season in Silver League, people would not go to Diamond league lol.

I hope my post here could help fellow silver league players to understand the different from Regular foil players with Gold foil players in term of rewards.
