Pennants, eh? I remember doing the same. Are pennants still a thing these days? I can't recall seeing one in years.

Ya they still exist.
We use them at football tournaments here in Ireland. Both teams exchange a pennant.
Yes he did, absolutely iconic! I'm not sure about pennants. I don't even know about the thimbles and spoons anymore either. It was always such a joy to stop into a Stuckey's and try to get some souvenirs.
