Hello all! Another week and it’s time again to do another #myhivegoals post, a series idea started by started by @jongolson. This also doubles as my weekly progress report for #saturdaysavers, which is a fun little group that tries to motivate everyone to save and reach their goals. I’m going to look at the progress I’ve made on my Hive goals, as well as give a few tokens I’m looking at right now. If you are here for the comment SBI giveaway, well, we’ll get to that too.

Let’s start with my Hive goals.

Hive & HBD

My current goal is 60k Hive.

Last week I made a bit over 100, and added some from my HBD to reach 335.04, bringing me to 55888.57 total Hive Power. That’s 93.1% of my goal!

Math time. 60k - 55888.57 gives us 4111.43. Divided out by the days till the first of next year, we get 25.1 Hive needed per day to reach 60k by that point.

Last week it was 26, making a nice improvement here. 25.1 is within my organic growth, so assuming I can keep posting daily and keep getting around the same number of votes, I should make that goal with ease now. That said, there is still half the year left so this thing isn’t in the bag yet.

Now if I look at my stretch goal of 70k, that changes to 86.0 needed every day, which is well beyond my organic ability unless I again start investing outside money.

Would I do that? I dunno. I do think HIVE is still worth buying at 0.25 so I might put more in. But I’m also not in a hurry to do so at this moment. We shall see.

Second Layer Tokens

The only two second layer tokens I have my eye on right now are PWR and BBHO. The black magic at BBHO continues and it remains the one community token that is still maintaining a great price. My curations every day are no joke. I had been selling half of what I make and powering up the rest, but now I have broken even, so I might power-up a higher percentage of my gains now.

PWR is also doing great. No complaints at all with it — except that it’s harder to buy into since the price is higher.

Silver

The silver chart for last week:

A bit of a drop mid-week, but it did start to slowly recover, finishing the week just a bit below open. We remain at a great level. Almost $40! Who woulda thought?

Here is a good looking coin that I came across today:

Genesh is surprisingly popular with some people in Japan. I suppose because he is perceived to be cute, and you know how much schoolgirls and office ladies love cute things in Japan (hint: a lot),

While there really doesn’t seem lot a lot of detail here and it looks like a more amature effort in making the round, I don’t really see a lot of Hindu deities on silver rounds, making this something to consider.
