Is HIVE the Future? Analyzing Blogging, Gaming, and DApps in 2024 [Eng/Esp]

Greetings, humans How are you doing?

We are just a few days away from the end of 2024, and I’d like to share a post analyzing the blogging, dApps, and gaming aspects of this world called HIVE.
With my three years of experience in this blockchain, I feel I can provide an objective analysis to share with all of you.

🔹BLOG +

I believe that written content creation is the activity that takes the largest share of user engagement, followed by video creation (via 3speak, at about 35%), and gaming content coming in much lower below 20%, I’d estimate.
Creating high-quality content can be very rewarding since you're being compensated for your time and ideas. I estimate that crafting a quality post takes about three hours, or even longer if it involves crafts or a cooking recipe.

However, as with everything in life, you can have great weeks and not-so-great weeks. The key is to stay consistent, leveraging the interactions you have within the community where you publish.

🔹GAMING

I consider myself a Hiver who creates a wide variety of content, though most of my posts focus on gaming. That said, in 2025, I might pivot my blog to showcase more of my real world work.
I do this for two reasons: first, because I enjoy video games; and second, because they inspire me with ideas for content (even though I consider myself quite creative already). It's important to enjoy what you do so you don’t burn out.

Discussing whether you can make money with gaming projects on HIVE is a bit complex. This section of the blockchain is highly volatile and faces stiff competition among projects. In general, there are times when you can earn something, but gaming like any business requires constant innovation to ensure its assets retain value over time.

🔹DAPPS

There are many applications on HIVE, but one that has particularly caught my attention is INLEO (and no, I’m not sponsored).
I feel they’re doing great work on HIVE, and they even have their own website, which is very clean, professional, and minimalistic (I love it).

This dApp is noteworthy because it has a native token, LEO, and a strong voting power. With a bit of luck, you might receive a vote from them, which brings significant benefits—you can check these out on their main page. Plus, it’s always exciting to see that notification pop up, haha.

I believe this dApp could exist independently, and although it’s part of HIVE, it has its own goals and personality.
Additionally, their interaction with the Web2 and Web3 communities, alongside their future plans to grow INLEO, could make it even bigger (sometimes I think it might surpass HIVE itself). If you don’t believe me, take a look at the growth of their token:

HIVE is a fantastic ecosystem, but it’s still often presented as a platform to make money, which I believe is a big mistake.
If you join HIVE just to earn money, you’ll be disappointed and likely leave, especially if you’re new. HIVE is much more than that.

Through HIVE, I’ve grown as a person and discovered hidden talents, as well as had the chance to interact with people from different countries, which is simply wonderful.

Saludos humanos como están...

Estamos a pocos días de que se acabe este 2024 y quisiera hacer un post analizando la parte de blogin, dapps , gaming de este mundo llamado HIVE.
Creo que con mis 3 años en esta Blockchain puedo hacer un análisis muy objetivo sobre como veo a hive para todos ustedes.

BLOG

Considero que esta función de crear contenido escrito es la que se lleva el mayor porcentaje frente a la actividad de los usuarios, seguida por la creación de videos ( esta se llama 3speak, un 35% ) y muy por debajo el contenido gaming que me atrevo a decir que esta por debajo de un 20%.
Creo que crear contenido de calidad puede ser muy ganador ya que te están recompensando por tu tiempo e ideas; yo estimo que un post de calidad se puede estar haciendo alrededor de 3 horas y mucho mas si son manualidades o una receta de cocina.
Pero también como todo en la vida puedes tener semanas muy buenas como otras no tanto y lo importante es ser constante, ayudado de las interacciones que tengas en la comunidad donde publicas.

GAMING

Yo me considero un hiver que creo gran variedad de contenido, aunque mi mayor porcentaje es de contenido gaming. Aunque para 2025 quizás le de un giro a mi blog y muestre un poco de mi trabajo en el mundo real.
Esto lo hago por 2 motivos, el primero porque me gustan los videojuegos y el segundo por que me da pie para tener ideas de contenido ( aunque me considero muy creativo ) y así plasmarlas en hive; y algo muy importante es disfrutar lo que haces para que no te canses.
Hablar de que si ganes dinero con estos proyectos gaming en hive puede ser complejo, ya que esta sección de la blockchain fluctúa mucho y tiene mucha competencia entre proyectos. Yo diría que en términos generales tiene sus épocas donde puedes ganar algo, pero un juego es como un negocio el cual requiere estar en constante innovación para que sus activos no se desvaloricen y se preserven en el tiempo.

DAPPS
Analizando estas aplicaciones en hive hay muchas; pero una que me esta llamando demasiado la atención es la de INLEO (no me están patrocinando ). Ya que siento que están haciendo un gran trabajo en hive y lo mejor tienen su propia pagina web la cual es bien bonita y profesional ( muy minimalista, me gusta).
Hablo de esta Dapp en general ya que tiene un token nativo que es el LEO y fuera de eso tienen un poder de voto muy bueno el cual con algo de suerte puede que te voten y esto trae muchos beneficios que puedes ver en su pagina principal, junto de una alegría al ver la notificación jeje.

Considero que esta dapp por si sola puede existir y aunque hace parte de hive tiene sus propios objetivos y personalidad.
Ademas de la interacción que hacen con la comunidad en web2 - web3 y de los planes para hacer a futuro INLEO aun mas grande ( a veces pienso que podría ser mas grande que hive ) lo cual puede ser una opción a largo plazo. Si no me crees mira el crecimiento de su token:

En general hive es un gran ecosistema, pero aun lo siguen presentando como una plataforma para ganar dinero y eso es un gran error. Esto te lo digo por si estas en hive por ganar dinero te vas a estrellar si eres nuevo y te vas a ir , ya que hive va más allá de eso.
Con hive e evolucionado como persona y he descubierto talentos ocultos, ademas de que podido interactuar con personas de otros países lo que es algo maravilloso.
