When I first joined Hive, I didn’t understand like how things worked. I was just posting ccording to my knowledge. But with time, I been seeing how the communities were managed and how some leaders were active, encouraging members, and keeping everything organized. That’s when I realized how powerful good authority management can be.

In communities like Hive Learners, LeoFinance, or AfriHive, you can easily feel the difference when there’s strong leadership I think it is really different in this community. There is fast response, guide to new members, and make sure rules are followed, but not in a harsh way. It’s like letting you understand that Hive is not just about writing, it’s about growing together. That kind of authority helps people feel safe and respected.

But we’ve also seen times when authority is mis- managed where leaders ignore some members, or make rules in their own favor. When that happens, members lose interest. Some stop posting, others leave the community. That’s the sad part, because one bad leadership decision can affect many people’s effort.

Authority on Hive should be balanced and not too strict, not too soft. It’s about guiding people with fairness and helping them improve in their talent and ability. A good leader will corrects with love and appreciates effort, not just results.

For me, that’s what makes Hive strong like people who use their authority to build and not to control. Because when the management is effective, members become very and more active, creativity increases, and everyone wins.

Hive is like a small world on its own, and the beauty of it depends on how well we handle power, how we treat people, and how we support one another.
