Korean Cuisine On My Table
Food is something that brings happiness and joy to people's no matter what the condition is, especially tasty meal, and at that moment, people come together as a result of food most at times when it comes to party the first thing in my mind when it comes to Korean food. Korean cuisine is so unique and colorful. Even though I have not try everything, but there are two special meals that I really fancy and I always imagine them on my table.
The first one is Kimchi. I have hear about kimchi so many times because it is also a popular Korean food before and use to see it in movies. I imagine when I first try small portion, It will be like a surprise because the taste is not like any food I have eat before. Maybe sour, spicy, and also crunchy. At first will be thinking can I really eat this? But I think after two or three bite, will become something I may enjoy it. Ok the taste may stay in the mouth in a very exciting way l thought and It make me think of how Korean people love strong and bold flavors. Kimchi is not just food, it is like history because they said it has been in their culture for hundreds of years. It show the way Koreans preserve food and also how they always eat healthy.
The second food I really like is Bibimbap. The first time I see it on table, I just admire the colors, arrangements and settings Rice in the middle, then so many vegetables, beef, and egg on top it very inviting and delicious in looks it will be mix together with the spicy sauce, the taste was very richer merely looking at it. i imagine, sometime sweet, sometime spicy, sometime soft, sometime crunchy. Bibimbap show me how Koreans like balance in their food. They mix different ingredient but still make it work perfectly.
Those two meal will be a very good one for me, I don't care what the ingredients use in preparation of this meal cos I can only see the one in the food with my eyes, don't know the others, but I would also love to know how it is been cooked
If I could have a little piece of this Korea food in my home. I would feel like a king in a palace that day. Though food is not just about eating to full stomach, it is about learning culture, enjoying taste, and feeling connected to people far away.
