Mother flees with 4-year-old daughter: “I will say you are a pedophile”. Convicted of abduction and slander

I was reading about the case that happened in Turin involving the woman who was convicted after fleeing abroad with her four year old daughter without respecting the custody granted to the father by the court, and like in a lot of cases it always seems to follow the same pattern: taking the children away and making heavy unfounded accusations against the father in order to destroy him morally and psychologically.
It all started in 2023, after taking the daughter away, the escape between Romania and Germany begins with continuous movements to avoid being tracked down, then the accusations of abuse against the paternal grandfather that ultimately found no evidence, and finally the threatening messages to the ex partner with one of the most infamous things that can be said to a father and a man: “I will say that you are a pedophile”.
And this is exactly what I find disgusting in cases like this, because accusations this serious have an immediate devastating impact; being publicly associated with certain words, even if they are lies, even if they are without evidence, can completely ruin a person’s reputation, work, social relationships, trigger investigations and trials. And all for what? Because certain mothers use these accusations as a psychological weapon against fathers.
And meanwhile children end up dragged into personal wars between adults, through courts, relocations, accusations, and revenge, things quickly become chaotic.
In this case the court spoke of child abduction and slander, with a sentence of three years in prison, far too little in my opinion. There is always this disturbing feeling of how easily a woman can ruin a man’s life with just a few simple words, also because all it takes is an accusation repeated loudly and long enough, and for many people the judgment is already made in their minds. Always think not ten times, but hundred times who you are marring and having kids with, they can ruin your life if they want to.

I am a person in that situation. I haven't seen my child in 2 months now and still don't know where they are. As I wrote about today, the accusations that Lily's mom is putting out against me are escalating. Nothing of child abuse yet, but it wouldn't surprise me. And a friend of mine got hit by that, too. Courts here are incredibly slow and have turned to the other extreme, believing the woman first instance, no matter what. Which I honestly hope has saved many lives, because the opposite was many times deadly here.
So it's not black & white. It's a very complicated situation to be in. I do see the judgement in people's faces right away when the topic comes up, especially those who don't know me. And it's impossible to prove a negative, so I have to use the proof I have of her blackmailing and psychological abuse against me. It will be ugly, and I really wouldn't have wanted that. Especially for Lily.
Unfortunately, most couples go for vengeance. Not for balance. Not to right, but to do the same. I really hope that I will find a way that puts Lily's wellbeing in the focus, not mine nor the mother's. Because that's what it's really about. And many people loose focus off that in all their emotions.
Your story is very similar of the one I shared and others I read and have shared too, it's too easy to throw an accusation and get away with it while you gotta shield yourself from all the shit... And people will just judge you as a bad evil man
