The alleged sunflower is rapidly growing despite being in a tiny vase, let's see if it can reach the flower or will die before, the top splitted in two parts which is uncommon for me

Definitely a sunflower. It must have had a bit of damage at the top, so it grew another stem. That means you'll have two big flowers. Lol.
Let's see if I can get two!
What do you mean alleged you cheeky bugger? If two expert horticulturists such as @theworldaroundme and I say it's a sunflower, it's a bloody sunflower. Right?

I think if it has the right nutrients then it'll continue to grow and survive, I think it currently have the right nutrients and it might not die soon
I'm hopeful to see the flower and gather some seeds

I check it almost daily, so we will see! For holidays I'm away but my parents will take care
