My Actifit Report Card: May 26 2026

I just found that in the palace garden where I live there are those fake strawberries, you can easily spot them not just from the shape but the flower which is yellow instead of white for them... We call them "crazy strawberries" here

Interesting to know there are fake strawberries. Does that mean one can't get those juice from them?

Nature is magnificent, can you imagine looking like a real strawberry only to just be an actual resemblance, imagine if someone ate this and thought it was the real strawberry

Back in the days we would find wild strawberries in the woods in Germany. They were very small, too, and incredibly delicious. Just that my mom insisted on not eating them before washing, as a fox could have peed on them so we could get a harsh worm or something. But when she wasn't there...

Haha... Oh well those ones are not wild, they are really fake, wild ones are pretty good

Oh, are they definitely resemble strawberries. I wonder if they are edible even if they are fake.

Parents and grandparents always said me they are not, so I never investigated deeper 🤣

We called it the snake berry in my childhood. As later I learned, it is Potentilla indica, and its berries are edible but tasteless (though can be a source of vitamins - good to know in the case the zombie apocalypse). Though I don't want to eat it 'cause snake berry thing still in my mind, lol.

Not much in them, actually, very humble but still can be consumed if you are starving or near that.

These are mock strawberries. Look at the tips of the leaflets, they are more evenly level. In wild strawberries, the middle leaflet extends a bit further and looks more pointed. :)
