A Stroll in Bassano del Grappa: From the Ponte degli Alpini to the Tranquility of the River - October 2025
We went for a trip to Bassano del Grappa, a walk in a different place with a beautiful landscape. Once we arrived in the center, we walked directly to the Ponte degli Alpini (after stopping at the Civic Museum, which will be the subject of another post); the view from the bridge is very beautiful and characteristic, but even more beautiful was the riverbank not far away.
Seeing some people there, I decided to try to find the path to get there as well, and after wandering around a few little streets, we reached it, and what can I say, as you can see from these photos, the view was spectacular. The mountains in the background, the calm river flowing with the rocks forming these small waterfalls, everything was extremely fascinating and pleasant, as well as relaxing.
We stayed there for a while, even throwing a few stones in the water. Definitely a place I will return to another time.

So these mountains are the Alps? North of Italy looks awesome, pitty that my travel to Italy I didn't went there. Well everytime we talk at home that we should go there...Milano, Verona, Venezia. Well I had only 5 days in Italy last time!
Yep that's the Alps on north east, near ww1 front... Ah Verona is a good pick, lot to see and not chaotic like Venezia or Milano, I've been there a weekend, and it also has Gardaland!
