It's good you know who you are and don't allow others opinions define what you're not. And your willingness to accept where you were lacking and them making up is really nice. Yes, we should stay genuine, while maintaining every positive character necessary.

I know who I am. My identity is very important and I must maintain it, especially the positive character that will sustain me in anything I want to do in this life.
