I like how you approached the topic. Giving those two perspectives and how it can be subjective depending on one's perception was nice.
You guys really tried. I can't imagine the stench. It's disheartening that even with a three star hotel close by that was still the case. I think we as a people too have to come to a point where we take responsibilities for such things as our environment.
