I'm pretty sure this is Juniper Springs which is in DeLand, Florida. Technically, this water would feed into a river but this would be near the spring itself where the water is coming out of the ground so the water itself is about as clean as it gets.

Ah that makes sense. We have a rock quarry here that they shut down after a spring was released. now it is a place where you go for a dip and it is the same thing. just unreal clear and clean water. It hasn't been turned into a tourist attraction though even though it could be.
There are quite a few of these in Florida. Most of them seem to be in state parks.
