Computer + Video Games, published in the U.K., was perhaps the longest running video games magazine. It was published from the early 1980s until well into the 2000s. The January 1991 issue includes:

  • News - A hands on look at two new systems including the Turbo Express (portable PC Engine) and the Super Famicom (Super Nintendo). Plus some new game boy accessories and a price drop for the Atari Lynx.

  • Playmasters - Tips, tricks, and cheats, for Badlands, Rainbow Islands, Midnight Resistance (C64), R-Type (C64), Operation Thunderbolt (Amstrad), Ghouls 'N' Ghosts (Amstrad), Ruff and Reddy (Spectrum), Atom Ant (Spectrum), Stryx (Atari ST), Shinobi (Atari ST), Dungeon Master (Amiga), F29 Retaliator (Amiga), Shinobi (Sega), Vigilante (Sega), Chase HQ (Sega), Tetris (Nintendo), Super Mario Bros. II (Nintendo), Blades of Steel (Nintendo), Track and Field II (Nintendo), Forgotten Worlds (Megadrive), Formation Soccer (PC Engine), Street Fighter (PC Engine), Splatter House (PC Engine), Batman (Game Boy), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Arcade), and more. Plus strategy guides for Simulcra (Amiga, Atari ST) and Super Off-Road.
