Commodore User is a magazine that was published in the U.K. and covered various Commodore computers over the years it was published. Near the end of its life it was covering the Amiga and Commodore 64. Issue number 77 from February 1990 includes:

  • Starflight - The classic sci-fi strategy game by Electronic Arts for the Amiga.

  • Drakkhen - An RPG for the Amiga that was later ported to other systems including as one of the early releases for the Super NES.

  • Super Cars - A racing game with game play similar to Super Sprint.

I graduated in systems in the late 80s, you can imagine how I feel when I see these old magazines!

My first computer was an Atari 800XL (the first one I could afford to buy myself), but before that I had already used the legendary "Kaypro 10" and "NCR Decision Mate" in the computer lab of my technical school... Ah, those were the days!... There was a charming "aura" surrounding anything with a keyboard and screen!
