Small bird wants in Door on cold day

The weather has gone crazy and the wildlife doesn’t know how to cope.

We have had a very mild winter so far this year with some weeks in the mid 70s so I guess during the mild weather birds could have had a clutch of eggs.

This small bird I guess wanted to get somewhere warmer. It appears to still have some fuze like baby birds start out with and is about half the sizee of others i have seen around like it. So i must assume it is s baby. Still to young to know about cold weather

We have had a few days close to freezing last month but a cold front came through yesterday with snow and sleet and the temperature has stayed below freezing. It is not to warm up above freezing until tomorrow late but then again it might now be above for only a few degrees

You might think it strange that i am posting about it since lots of places have cold below freezing temperatures However it is rare that we have temperatures that stay below freezing for longer than at night.

For us when it gets that low I consider it cold because it is out of the ordinary

This smount of frozen moisture (snow and sleet) is rare as we normally have freezing rain covering everything in ice instead of a covering of white in the yard.
