MY GRANDFATHER'S OLD COIN
HAPPY TUESDAY, COLLECTOR FRIENDS
Here I am back on #hivecollectors bringing you a piece that, while not rare, is special. An old coin my grandfather bought and left for his grandchildren to take care of and pass on to the next.
I leave one for each child. I don't know if the others have it, but my dad kept it, and now I have it. It's a silver coin from Venezuela with a beautiful patina.
It's not a rare year, but it is a special piece in my collection.
And here ends this post, with which I started the day on #hive. A bit short, but I wanted to show you this coin. See you another time with more.

A simple designed coin having it's own elegance. 1.6 million of these coins minted in 90% silver by the Philadelphia mint. Handed down to you from your Grandfather. Are those old photos of your grandfather?
I inherited my father's coin collection and he got them from my grandfather too. I've added to that collection and plan to pass them to my sons. I acquired this 1903 5 Bolivar from a retiring collector.
Your grandfather left you a treasure, those coins have their relic grade and the more years go by the more value they will have, but the greatest value is the sentimental value 🙏
