Showing My Guild Brawl Results and Opening Gladius Case in Splinterlands

avatar

My current focus in Splinterlands is the Wild format and Guild Brawls. In the Wild format, my goal is to get Glint to spend on Loot Chests/Rarity Draws and acquire the new Reward Set cards, allowing me to increase my card collection without spending too much on the market.

The new Reward Set cards aren't enough for me to have powerful and useful cards to play in the highest leagues, but they are a great help, so I want to get them and level up the ones I consider most useful in battles.

My goal is to sell the Gold Foil cards and keep the Regular cards I like best, I'll burn the others to get more Glint.

I participate in Guild Brawls to earn SPS and merit rewards. I keep the SPS in Stake because they are useful for increasing my rewards in ranked battles, and I use the merit to get Gladius Cases to increase my Gladiator card collection in Splinterlands.

Before I continue talking about Splinterlands, I'm going to talk about Arcade Colony.

Arcade Colony

Arcade Colony is a web-based platform where mainstream games can deploy Web3 features. Newly created games, as well as previously released games, can now add tokens, digital collectibles, trading, renting, earning, and governance to their games. Thus, Arcade Colony hosts a series of published games similar to the Epic Games Store, Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or Steam, but unlike Web2 publishers, Arcade Colony augments new and existing games with Web3 features. For more information about the platform, read the Whitepaper.

For more information about the platform, read the Whitepapper.

In Arcade Colony you'll find 4 games:

I'm currently only playing Splinterlands, Moon Karts, and StakeHouse Den, but I'll start playing Genesis League Goals soon.

Remember that this is not an investment tip, so research these games before investing in them.

As I mentioned before, I play in Wild mode and participate in Guild Brawls in Splinterlands. In this post I'll show the result of my last Guild Brawl and open some Gladius Cases.

This was the amount of SPS and merits I received from the last Guild Brawl. It's not a large amount of SPS, but it's already a help to increase the amount of SPS I have in Stake. The amount of merit is only enough to open 1 Gladius Case, but that's not a problem because if I choose to spend my Glint on Loot Chests, then I'll get a good amount of merit from them and open more Gladius Cases to get more Gladiator cards.

I had some merit left over and, combined with what I earned in the last Guild Brawl, I have enough to buy 4 Gladius Cases.

  • Each Gladius Case costs 2000 merit and gives the player 5 cards.

My Guild's Store isn't level enough for me to buy Blood Stones and Power Stones, so I won't use them when opening the Gladius Cases.

These are the cards I received, there aren't any Gold Foil or Legendary cards, but I was lucky enough to get great cards like Katrelba Gobson and Isgald Vorst.

Little by little I'm getting more cards and improving my card collection in Splinterlands.
