Showing How to Stake SCRIPT Tokens and Increasing My SCRIPT Staking
In this post, I'll show you how to stake SCRIPT tokens on Arcade Colony and increase your staked SCRIPT tokens.
Before we continue talking about SCRIPT token staking, let's talk about what Arcade Colony is.
Arcade Colony
Arcade Colony is a web-based platform where mainstream games can deploy Web3 features. Newly created games, as well as previously released games, can now add tokens, digital collectibles, trading, renting, earning, and governance to their games. Thus, Arcade Colony hosts a series of published games similar to the Epic Games Store, Apple App Store, Google Playstore, or Steam, but unlike Web2 publishers, Arcade Colony augments new and existing games with Web3 games.

During my journey at Hive, I've written several posts explaining Arcade Colony and games like Moon Karts; you can find more information about both in the posts below.
In the second post, I show how I got started in Moon Karts by investing less than $5 in the game. Keep in mind that this was my strategy, and if you want to earn more in the game, you'll need to invest in better NFTs to increase your performance and racing earnings.

To stake SCRIPT tokens, you'll need to have them in your Arcade Colony wallet, but first, you'll need to purchase the tokens. You have three options for purchasing SCRIPT tokens: Hive Engine, Tribaldex and Beeswap.
I don't recommend buying SCRIPT tokens on Hive Engine because the price is usually high, but always keep an eye out for good opportunities.
I use Tribaldex or Beeswap to buy my SCRIPT tokens.
Today I decided to use Beeswap and bought 2 SCRIPT tokens for 3.11 Swap.Hive, which is equivalent to $0.42 at the current Hive price.
Now that I have the SCRIPT tokens in my Hive Engine wallet, I just need to transfer them to Arcade Colony and stake them.
On the Arcade Colony website, you'll find the COLONY and SCRIPT token icons. After logging in, click the SCRIPT token icon and you'll be redirected to the SCRIPT token staking page.
Choose the Transfer option and select the amount of SCRIPT tokens you want to transfer to your Arcade Colony wallet.
Then choose the Stake option and stake your SCRIPT tokens.
I now have 12 SCRIPT tokens in my Arcade Colony wallet, and I decided to stake them because Season 41 ends tomorrow in Moon Karts. I'll use the earnings from that to buy new NFTs and stake the NFTs that will be replaced to increase Fuel production in the game.
Staking SCRIPT tokens is also very useful in StakeHouse Den, so I'll benefit from it in both games.
