Opening My First Riftwatchers Pack in Splinterlands
In this post I'll be opening my first Riftwatchers pack in Splinterlands. Riftwatchers is a mini-set from the Chaos Legion edition and it contains cards that I frequently use in my battles in the game.
Before continuing to talk about Splinterlands, I'll talk a little about Arcade Colony.
Arcade Colony
Arcade Colony is a web-based platform where mainstream games can deploy Web3 features. Newly created games, as well as previously released games, can now add tokens, digital collectibles, trading, renting, earning, and governance to their games. Thus, Arcade Colony hosts a series of published games similar to the Epic Games Store, Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or Steam, but unlike Web2 publishers, Arcade Colony augments new and existing games with Web3 features.

Let's continue talking about Splinterlands and my first Riftwatchers.
There are 2 ways to get Riftwatchers in the game, and those options are:
- Buying in Splinterlands
- Buying in the Hive Engine
Normally I buy the packs in Splinterlands, but the Hive Engine also has great opportunities, so I always check both.
To buy in Splinterlands you need to go to the Card Packs option and choose Riftwatchers.
Splinterlands
In Splinterlands, the lowest price for the Riftwatchers pack is $0.65, and I have the option to buy it with DEC or Credits.
Hive Engine
In Hive Engine, the lowest price for the Riftwatchers pack is $0.59, and I only have the option to buy it with Swap.Hive.
After observing the prices, Hive Engine is the best option, so I will buy it from Hive Engine for 6.69 Swap.Hive.
Since I bought the pack from Hive Engine, I need to transfer the Splinterlands pack. So I need to go to the OPEN option and then click on Transfer in the Riftwatchers pack.
It only takes a few seconds, and the pack will arrive in your account. After that, just open the pack.
When opening the pack, you have the option to use Alchemy potions and Legendary potions.
The Alchemy Potion increases the chances of getting Gold Foil cards.
The Legendary Potion increases the chances of getting Legendary cards.
Each pack contains 5 cards, so you will need 5 Alchemy Potions and 5 Legendary Potions per pack.
These are the cards I managed to get, and I wasn't lucky enough to get any valuable cards, but they are great cards. Ash Mirage and Tinderlock are cards that I really like and that I will use in my battles.
