I hope your week has been a good one, and that you are happy to arrive at the weekend! I am, because today is Saturday and that means Caturday, my favorite day of the week to share a new cat pictures!

We are all continuing to be grateful for springtime being here, because it means there are more sunny spots around the house, and the days are longer.

Of course, the Hoomans are not entirely happy with the fact that we cats tend to use the sun as our "alarm clock" in the morning, meaning that we are jumping on their feet earlier and earlier!

Don't know why they get so grumpy about that. After all time's a-wasting, and it is snack time!

Shangri, curious about something...

The bird watching has been really good lately, with all the birds doing their springtime nest building and frequently coming in front of our windows. It has become even better since the Dad-Hooman washed the windows!

The Hoomans are also starting to work on their outdoor gardening projects, which means we get to spectate from the windows. Not sure why anybody would put so much work into removing stuff that just grows back, but apparently they think it's "fun."

Sunshine feels good!

Next week, the Mom-Hooman is going back to Seattle to visit the Daughter-Hooman and the new grandson, which means she's going to be out of town for about 4 or 5 days.

Thankfully the Dad-Hooman takes good care of us when she is gone, although it is a bit of a stretch to have one Hooman for four cats! Let's just say we keep him busy!

What's going on here? Can we help?

Ever since she passed her 21st birthday, our senior citizen Kitty Smudge has been increasingly showing her age. We are increasingly worried that she has not long for this world.

Well that makes us sad to think about, we are also grateful that we were able to give her four extra golden years that were completely unexpected.

As you may recall, Smudge came to us already 16 years old, because our Hoomans agreed to take care of her when her original Hooman moved out of the country to the Dominican Republic, four and a half years ago.

Don't really have anything interesting or promising to say about life in the Cryptosphere, other than feeling sad that everything seems to be beaten down because you Hoomans insist on going to war with each other.

I am just going to keep publishing cat blogs, and hope that everything will turn around one of these days.

And with that thought in mind, it is time for me to get back to my sunny spot and continue my afternoon nap.

There are a number of other feline communities listed on Hive, but I am not sharing them for now as they have not had any activity (by their Admins OR users) since the Steem/Hive fork. Updates as they become available!
