Greetings, Fabulous Felines and Hoomans of Hivelandia and surrounding communities!

Snacktime!

Well, here we are again — today was Caturday, my favorite day of the week, because it's that time of the week when Hoomans share pictures of their favorite Feline companions!

We have had a fairly quiet week around here, with the Hoomans either being burrowed down in their so-called "work," or otherwise relaxing with their inside projects... including the ongoing mega-project of sorting through all their stuff in an effort to steer us all towards being a smaller and more compact household.

We cats do love that particular process because it invariably seems to involve the unpacking and repacking of lots of boxes, or — as they are often called around here — "cat traps."

The Dad-Hooman has actually reached a point now where new shelves are opening up in his home office closet... which gives us new hidey-holes to explore!

I don't think the Hoomans are quite sure about the details of this "moving" thing quite yet, so most of what is going on for now is just background preparation. I don't much care for change and disturbances, so I hope they understand the importance of minimizing the stress on us cats!

After all, cats are very sensitive creatures who don't like it when their familiar surroundings are disturbed.

Fred — the resident raccoon who scared Shangri so much — seems to have moved on to some new place. At least we haven't seen him in about a week... which is a good thing, so we no longer have a terrified cat hiding in a closet.

We're still not sure what sort of trauma poor Shangri must have had as a kitten, but hopefully he'll not have any more unexpected encounters with so-called "trash pandas!"

Meanwhile, we're back to keeping a nervous eye on the Cryptosphere, after Hive enjoyed a brief rally into actual positive territory. Even got a little bit hopeful, for a few days... but I suppose we should have known it was too good to last.

At least I am inching forward with my Hive goals for 2025, and hopefully will be able to just about make it.

Unlike many in this community, I have never powered down in the 7+ years we have been keeping this blog... and we feel pretty good about that!

There are a number of other feline communities listed on Hive, but I am not sharing them for now as they have not had any activity (by their Admins OR users) since the Steem/Hive fork. Updates as they become available!
