Yes, you're quite right — it applies to much more than just the world of crypto. It's pretty much a trend everywhere... I guess because we live in a world where nothing seems "worthy" of attention unless it makes outlandish (and totally unattainable) claims.

There is so much hidden stuff, everywhere. Most recently, I ran into a subscription service where you can "pause" your membership, but only buried somewhere impossible to find in the TOS was the small clause that "well automatically turn your subscription back on after 60 days and charge you up front."
