How I Train Habits to Power Up Hive Every Day

avatar

I found a powerful analogy in George Leonard’s Mastery. He calls our resistance to change "homeostasis." It’s like our body is a finely tuned machine, desperately trying to maintain a steady temperature. If it fluctuated by even 10%, we’d be in serious trouble. To keep countless functions operating optimally, our body is constantly striving for equilibrium. This innate desire for stability is what keeps habits firmly in place, much like a relaxed rubber band. I feel the rubber band stretch out of shape and this make me follow my habit of powering up

I have been powering up hive every day, It is now a habit. If I forget or think that I may have missed the power up for the day a small feeling of shock comes over me, then I figure out it's done for the day and I start to relax. I don't ant to break the chain.

Today is Hive PUD day and I have done my usually 1000 hive hive power up. How long can I keep this up? it is a good question, the best answer is "as long as I can.

So far my hive total is 79,875.31 HP and I plan to make it to 100k by the end of the year

Do you spend any time to build up your habits, some can be harmful but I don't want to dwell on those. Only the positive ones. Do you get up early and exercise or do you go to the gym every day, these seem like good habits to me.

Keep Powering Up !!

It's inspiring to see how you've turned powering up into a consistent habit
Reaching 100k by the end of the year is an ambitious goal, but with commitment, it’s achievable. Good luck!

Greetings @ctrpch ,

Good habits are usually based on one's value system.

Happy PUD!

Bleujay does look forward to participating each month, it seems an excellent way to show support for Hive.

Cheers!

Did my first 1000 HIVE Power Up for November! Read your post on running a HIVE node, interesting stuff, what does it take to run one? I am sure I can easily do the technical part, but does it also take a lot of staked HIVE? BTW you got my vote for your witness :)

Thanks for the vote mate, you don't need a lot of staked hive to run a node, but everyone's first vote is from their own account.

I'm not earning enough yet to power up every day, but I do it every day I earn HP.
