Strawberries and Cream Mason Jar Candle

This candle is one of my husband's favorites. I have gotten these before and he really likes them. I figured I'd give him a break from all the pumpkin spice candles I have been burning lately.

These candles are usually found in drug stores and grocery stores in the US. I think the price is about $12 but they are often on sale. The jars are reusable as well.

The sent throw is medium-strong on this one. It fills a couple of rooms. I think the wax is very pretty as well. The "cream" scent does come a little later and is more pronounced as the candle burns, which is typical for layered scent candles.

Eventually the scents all melt together.

The wicks are very long on these candles so be sure to trim them before you light them. For photos I tend to have the wicks slightly longer than what I usually burn them at. It's a balancing act though don't trim wicks down too much or they could stop burning as they are drowned in wax. Not trimming them causes the candle to burn faster and there's usually more soot.
