Ahoy Mateys! Got me treasure box for my loot!

Ok this is just too damn cute I can't stand it. The lion with the little knocker thing is just too much. It reminds me of the move Labrynth.

I wanted something to display some of my copper and silver bullion and my husband found this treasure chest on Amazon. It s so cute.

The hardware is sturdy. We put a block cloth on the inside but may line it with felt in the future. it's made of wood, plywood I think. The paint has that slightly worn look which adds to the aesthetic. The sides did need to get reinforced when we got it. We just used some nails and wood glue, but overall this is a great inexpensive little treasure chest. And yes the little knockers do move. It's quite satisfying.

It also has a spot on the front latch to put a small padlock.

I though that the long alt text is your prompt for an AI image generator, such that I wondered how great that tool was to generate such image before reading your "All photos were taken by me" notice. 🤯😆 !WEIRD !LOLZ

It's for visually impaired people who are using a reader of some sort. Otherwise they would have no idea what the images are. though actually some AI assistance may help with that now. :) I don't always remember to add alt text but I try. !BBH

Before reading your "All photos were taken by me" notice, I wondered how an AI image generator would display something inside an opaque container (particularly because of the portion of your alt text that says "The inside contains copper and silver bullion rounds and has a black cloth lining the bottom"). 🤯😆 !WEIRD !INDEED !HOPE !PIZZA
