I would love to spend another month in the US even though that is clearly not enough time and would need a good 6 months to travel around as there is too much to see and the various food specialties of all the regions.

Heck, I've lived here my whole life and I still haven't seen everything! Six months would barely scratch the surface!
Yes exactly what I was trying to say as it would take so much time and even then you would miss so much. I prefer the non touristy stuff and would love to visit the small towns experiencing the real America.
The small towns are amazing!
I would love to be able to not plan a trip and just travel and stop when you find a great place to explore. The small towns would be special and where you will also find great food.
There are a lot of magical places if you are just tent camping or you have one of those Econoline campers, but our trailer wouldn't fit on them. It's the trade off for having a bit more luxury.
I think we are more glampers and would use hotels instead lol. I love camping, but not when travelling with suitcases and more of a weekend thing.
