My Splinterlands Diary: Buy Gladius Pack & Opening

It's time again to buy and open some gladius packs. We have just completed our weekly brawl, finished in seventh. I contributed with a record of seven wins and two losses.

I'm a member of Gank's Squadron Guild, playing brawls weekly. From there, I earn rewards to buy packs which I will do today. My results in brawls improved because of the cards I borrowed from our leader, @snowboardingpete. Anyway, the topic today is the gladiator cards I'm buying and opening.

I have enough merits to buy two packs from the shop. A gladius pack is 2,000 merits per pack and I have 5k+ merits to buy two packs.

I opened the packs one at a time. The first pack contained the cards below.

The first pack contained a strong epic card named Marisol Contuna. It's a melee card that belongs to the life element. It has four attack which is excellent and a reach ability in addition to bloodlust which all gladiator cards possess.

The pack also contained a rare card. It's a one mana earth card with one attack called Cutter Brieze. It has no other ability save for bloodlust.

Another earth card was Bertrol Gobson. It's a low mana card like Cutter Brieze. It has an opportunity ability in addition to bloodlust.

Next pack had the following units below.

It's one rare and four common cards. The rare card is one I like a lot. A magic card named Captain Katie. I like that she does big magic attack at level one. One more card I like is Katrelba Gobson. I like her double strike ability. She is the only card I have that has three abilities at level one.

Overall the cards were a good addition to my gladiator cards.
