Week 7 Results | 10W-20L-2P | -0.303 Units Loss

This is a weekly overview of my personal sports betting/trading results on teams from the Belgian Jupiler League, documenting my journey toward long-term profit with some insights on my overall approach.

Week 7 was one of those where I made a small loss but I actually feel quite good about nearly all the bets I took. OHL lost with 2-0 despite a 1.03-1.72xg while I was on them as the Underdog. I avoided betting Club Brugge until the point they fell behind and only moderately backed them afterward which easily could have won with 0.73-2.12xg and a missed penalth late in the match. I also had Gent as the underdog who won with 1-2 score despite the entire match was with 10 vs 11 which mainly screwed up the corner bets that I was on while the 1H Under also got screwed with a very late goal despite very low xg.

So overall I feel I have quite a good read on all teams and I'm looking forward to find some good value that hopefully goes my way in the coming weeks. In the end, this short-term variance all doesn't matter as the picture of the chart over a large sample size is what matters. Everything inbetween is just noise and you need to keep grinding with as little emotion as possible while enjoying the entire process.

Pre-Game Preview Bets Season 2025-2026

I only really put 1 bet as an official one even though multiple bets I took at 0.3+ units. Genk +0.25 @ 1.88 just felt too big and I took it early. Eventually, it ended up a half a winner with 11 vs 10 as Anderlecht got red and there is no real telling what would have happend without the card. Genk isn't the best against teams who just defend with everyone and Anderlecht made quite a good impression despite the entire situation they are in. If anything, it just shows that easy wins are a rare thing in betting.

Season 2025-2026 Personal Betting Chart

The season chart still looks excellend and I'm glad that I managed to avoid a big loss last week given how most matches went. I'm still aiming to get my overall volume up and the fact that I'm up over 2 units really does help with this as it makes me emotionally more tolerant to risk compared to when I'm 8 units down or so. At the same time, I also can't get wreckless
