This is a weekly overview of my personal sports betting/trading results on teams from the Belgian Jupiler League, documenting my journey toward long-term profit with some insights on my overall approach.

This was the 3rd consecutive week in a row where the results more or less were around break even and with a record of 11 Winners and 24 Losers. This indicates that the main bets are actually good and the smaller cost-average cover bets are most of the time slight losing positions. What I noticed in the past weeks that I have done really good in calling out smaller underdogs systematically while betting on top teams as favorites is still in a zone where they simply aren't good enough yet.

There also have been many matches where I had 'hunches' on outcomes to potentially being way different compared to the lines but I always kept my stakes to a minimum as I never have the needed conviction. So far the market has been near 100% right as none really play out in the offset way that would not surprise me. That also has been minor losing.

Looking at my season stats though, I'm at +8.04% ROI on 257 pre-game bets , +1.01% ROI on 283 Lin-Game Bets & +2.41% on 302 Corner bets which remains the market I have most confidence to have an edge in despite the higher juice.

Season 2025-2026 Personal Betting Chart

This was a low-volume week at just 3.589 units staked in total and it remains a massive challenge to get my volume up still mostly because I lack the sheer confidence to take bigger bets. So What I need to do is slowly but surely increase my overall stakes a bit which I aim for again in the coming week. Overall, I'm still in a very safe zone with 3.8 units of profit just over halfway the season and the chart looking like a stable trend up. It's unlikely at this point for me to have major bets all at once as edges are just limited while my hunches on things that potentially could be totally wrong simply don't produce the outcomes and results.

I do think that this is an acceptable loss, it can be almost neglected. Way better then the loss in week 17.
Was Genk part of the loss?

I only took a tiny 0.06 unit bet on Genk 1H Corners +0 @ 1.99 in-game after they got the lead and remained the better team right after which ended up losing. Aside from that, I stayed away from it. Genk is just a really difficult team to get an edge on given how they now tend to give up offensive impulses to get better on the defensive end which still remains vulnerable. So it's tricky to back them as right now or oppose them as they remain a squad capable of much more. The ideal situation would be that they pick up their form a couple matches in a row while taking less points than they deserve for there to potentially be an edge to back them.
