Week 1 Results | 18W-22L-5P | +0.046 Units Profit
So it's the start of another season after I managed to keep the steak alive to end with a profit every single year so far. However, betting remains a struggle, and I don't expect this to change anytime soon this year. The goal is pretty much the same this year and my unit sizes have also not changed. I will continue to use my Hive blog and the SBC Discord as a way to stay disciplined making previews on all matches sharing pretty much every bet as I take it. I also will continue to make these weekly results recap posts to track how I'm doing and where to possibly improve.
I didn't keep as much track of things during the off season so I took week 1 as a way to better get a grip on each of the teams. The one things that I really need to do this year is to keep my full focus during the matches as that does make a massive difference. This year, things might become extra difficult as the only way to watch the matches right now is through the Dazn streaming app which more or less rund 10-15 seconds behind which is super frustrating for live betting since it's crucial to take bets at the right time so they instantly get accepted.
Pre-Game Preview Bets Season 2025-2026
I didn't have an official pre-game bet selection yet in Week 1 as I will be extra cautious this season on these. Last year they ended with an overall loss even though they are still at a solid +5.56% ROI counting as flat bets in the past 5 years. The reality though is that when I see bigger value, it more often than not turned out to be the market somehow was right. In the end I aim for these to be the most profitable so I'm adjusting my strategy a bit and will see where it will go.

Season 2024-2025 Personal Betting Chart
As always at the start of a new season, it takes time for the Blue Results line to really flow along with the expected profit line. I by the way reduced the expectation to +2.70% ROI instead of +3.0% as the results of previous years simply indicate this. It was a classic rollercoaster week firt going down around 0.4 units to shoot up to over 1 unit and lose it all back to still end with a tiny profit. The goal remains the same to have at least 10 units of profit by the end and if possible more while at the same time doing everything to limit the possible downside. I still aim to get in the 8-10 units volume weekly and it was not bad last week getting it to over 5.
