RE: Jupiler League Week 22 Sunday Previews

Hayen just opted to defend the lead at the end of the match with his subs wich backfired as it often does. They just need a new really solid defensive midfielder as everyone else in that spot just falls short at the moment which makes them vulnerable. On the bright side, Them likely missing out on playoff 1 likely will make them a lock for playoff 2.

To score a Euopean ticket, PO2 would be the better route. There is no use playing PO1 as last, that would be a very steep hill to climb to score such a ticket.
Strange, I did expect more from them this season, but the squad doesn't seem to be balanced enough.

I also expected a lot from Genk this season but it just never came out and by now it doesn't feel like it all of a sudden will. I'm still rooting for them to reach European football next season.

I indeed prefer them over STVV for instance in Europe because that would crush pur coefficient.

The way I look at it, if Stvv reaches an European spot it's 'easy money' on opposing them in the league (see what happened to Cercle -22% ROI on their league matches last year) and if Genk doesn't play Europe they likely will overperform in the league (like last year where they were at +20% ROI overall on all their regular season matches)

Still, If I could choose I still want to see Genk in Europe

They still can win the conference league to reach the European League next year :)
I know, nearly impossible.
