Not that much betting action in the match yesterday between Standard and OHL but I did manage to end slightly positive to start the week. It remains much harder to estimate these playoff matches so I'm keeping a conservative approach. 3 Matches to have a look at for Today, I also likely will follow the 2nd division final playoff match between Beerschot & Lommel.
Zulte-Waregem vs Dender
Zulte-Waregem are sure to win the Playdowns but it doesn't really matter. The main question is how motivated they will be at home in this final match of the season and if the coach will possibly do some rotation. There also might be some kind of sympathy factor toward Dender who still kind of have something to play for as they want to go into the final confrontations against the 2nd division team with some confidence. So I expect that Dender will take this match more serious as a test while Waregem might play a bit more freely and maybe less focused on the defensive end. Dender broke their losing streak and took a win last week at home against a poor la Louviere. I told myself that I was going to back Dender once they were sure of the last place and even though I can't say I'm overly confident, the +1 line is good enough for a small try, as I can see where a 1 goal narrow home win would be a ok result for both while I don't see it as unlikely for Zulte to overall have less focus in this match. La Louviere vs Cercle Brugge
La Louviere so far has lost every match in these playoffs but at the same time never got in trouble. The question now is if they want to show some kind of reaction in this final home match and take a win or just let it hang keeping the losing momentum they are in. The question is also whether they are actually capable. Cercle Brugge has nothing to play aside from ending the season with a good feeling. They so far only lost against Zulte-Waregem which killed the goal of ending first in the playdowns. the -0.25 line surely is tempting and I took a very cautious 0.08 unit bet on

Club Brugge vs Sint-Truiden
Sint-Truiden took a deserved 2-1 win at home against Union playing a solid match and they are back in a good flow. Brugge also has good momentum after quite easily winning away against Anderlecht in a match were once again they kind of dropped some focus at some point which still potentially could have made it tricky. They will be without Vetlesen who has been strong recently and 3rd goalkeeper Van Den Heuvel replaces the injured Jackers while Mignolet will be on the bench. The pressure is on for Club Brugge who are in the title race while Sint-Truiden has nothing to lose and can play freely. I don't see is as impossible as odds suggest for Stvv to have another upset or for Brugge to win just narrowly. I was willing to take 0.16 units on
Sint-Truiden +1.25 @ 2.098 as I do expect Stvv to score which is also something I'm keeping an eye out for in-game.
