This is a weekly overview of my personal sports betting/trading results on teams from the Belgian Jupiler League, documenting my journey toward long-term profit with some insights on my overall approach.

I continue to have a lot of fun with these playoffs and it was another slightly profitable week in the end while keeping my stakes low. Right now, I'm simply not yet in a confidence level or have any real indication of a bigger edge to take larger stakes. Also unlike most other years, I'm far from burned out when it comes down to watching and betting football. One of the reasons might be that I'm still slightly down on the season fighting to make it so I continue an unbeaten streak.

There are just 4 more weeks left along with a Cup match and 4 finals for the European tickets while I'm down just 1.4 unit so everything is still possible and in the worst case I managed to limit my damage in the inevitable losing season that was going to come at some point.

I am slightly tempted to increase my stakes a bit again but the one time I did so last weekend was on the AA Gent +0.25/+0.5 1H corners speculative bet as I potentially could see a scenario where it turned into a big edge bet. However, that didnt' happen and instead I made the mistake again to 'double down' after seeing better odds after taking an initial 0.2 unit bet.

I also ended up following the promotion playoffs in the 2nd division where it kind of felt there was a bigger edge despite not being an expert. Before minute 80' there were already 2.3+ odds on the over while it was a situation where the weaker team away needed to god forward and score at all cost which they ended up doing.

Season 2024-2025 Personal Betting Chart

If anything with the chart on the playoffs always using small stakesI get the fear that it might turn out in taking the stair steps up but taking the elevator down. So far I didn't really manage to get 1 big hit win or middle position while I might get in a spot where I have a bit too much at stake losing that. I did have quite the number of bets as all matches were played separately and ended with 5 units+ stakes which is the max I can ask for these days. The 0.244 units of profit made the overall profit curing these playoffs go above 2 units.

There are more matches over the weekend and they will be played sererately so I should be able to get in more bets and volume.
