Playoffs Week 4 Tuesday Previews

There are mid-week matches this week, with many of them played at the same time so I don't expect all too much action.3 Matches in Playoff 2 will be played tonight.

Genk vs Charleroi

Genk managed to win away against direct rival Westerlo over the weekend but it wasn't as easyas the 0.87-2.6xg suggested. Overall Genk doesn't feel like they have the best form at the moment and Karetsas no longer seems to be a guarantee for danger. Overall though, they still have a team with plenty of potential and they are the clear favorite to win Playoff 2. They play against Charleroi who don't have anything to play for anymore and lost 1-2 at home to Standard which was against play. It was a super boring 1st half and a more open 2nd half. their main issue is scoring goals though. They were without Guiagon & Titraoui who also will be out today. It's one of those matches were on paper, Genk should always win as they have more quality and more to play for but at the same time it feels like them screwing up somehow today would not be that major of a surprise. I went for 0.1 units on the good old Genk Win & Both To Score @ 4.031 as Genk remains a team who are vulnerable if they want to be dangerous themselves.

OH Leuven vs Westerlo

Westerlo lost at home against Genk but are still in contention to win playoff 2. To achieve that though, a win today will be absolutely needed which should make for a match where the away team is willing to go forward. OHL is without a win in playoff 2 and have nothing to play for and are simply hard to trust. My main angle on Westerlo is that I keep chasing Bayram to score as he is the current penalty kicker while as a defender he also scores regular goals at times. I'm always waiting to see him confirmed in the starting lineup though. OHL comes off a loss against Antwerp where they took 2 yellow cards and I kind of expect a reaction as otherwise it will be a long 6 matches to go after this one. No Pre-Game Bets

Standard vs Antwerp

This is the most interesting match in terms of a betting perspective. Standard still has a chance to win Playoff 2 and need a win for this today while they aren't the team who are willing to take that much risks right from the start. This strategy to keep things closed when even hoping to strike on a counter has worked so far as they managed to have 2 hold-ups this way already. Antwerp has nothing left to play for and started giving more younghsters a chance but overall simply aren't good enough and haven't put up any good performances. Last week they were quite lucky to win against OHL who took 2 red cards. In my notes I wrote 'Oppose Antwerp' but at the same time I'm not really that wild about Antwerp. I was willing in this match to take 0.3 units each on Standard +0 @ 1.915 & 1st Half Under 1 @ 1.915
