Only one weekend to go in the regular season and similar to many teams with questionable motivation, I'm also kind of already in a mental mode where I'm done with this season looking forward to the next one. So it's just some basic notes and likely limited betting action starting with the match for the final place in 1st league next season followed by 3 Playoff 2 matches played at the same time.
Dender vs Lommel
This likely will be the most interesting match of the day as there is everything to play for. Lommel went into the first match at home opening as the clear -0.2 favorite but by closing time the line was moved to a DNB line. They started out taking the initiative while Lommel lured at the counters which didnt' last that long. Around minute 20 it was an even mlatch but Dender made the 0-1. Both teams had quite high efficiency and Dender was 1-2 in the lead at minute 82' when they still gave it away somehow. Overall it was a pretty close affair where you felt that Dender has a bit more quality if it was not for them giving it away once again. Nerves will be high today on both sides and a 1-goal home win for Dender will take it to extra time which I see as a not so unlikely scenario which made me tale 0.1 unit on
Dender To Win By 1 Goal @ 4.140. Overall it remains a match between a 1st and 2nd division team where there is a home advantage and a clear goal ahead to win for Dender which I think they are capable of enough times to take a tiny 0.1 bet also on
Dender -0.5 @ 2.224. The most likely scenario is for Dender to take the initiative without overly taking risks and Lommel to lure on the counters.
OH Leuven vs Genk
Genk once again failed last match at home against Antwerp not getting further than a 0-0 draw as it was not good enough with many key missings (Heymans, Karetsas, Bangoura, Sternberg, Medina). They are still without Karetsas and Sternberg while Smets who is important in the defense also is injured and don't have matters into their own hands anymore. They are obligated to take the win away against OHL and hope Standard doens't win at home to still take the 1st place. So at least at some point in this match, risk will need to be taken. OHL plays their last match of the season now at home and have been in a bit better flow while at the same time it's hard to trust them. Genk failing today would be typical of their season but OHL losing also would be typical of their season. My main angle in this match is that sooner or later, risk will have to be taken but that doesn't buy me much as the total line is set at 3 goals.
No Pre-Game Bets
Antwerp vs Westerlo
This is a match with nothing to play for aside ending the season in a good way. I would argue that Antwerp has the motivational edge because of the home advantage but Westerlo has the slight quality edge. Antwerp has been giving more youghsters a chance but I kind of expect them to at least start with their best squad now. Westerlo is expected to play with 2nd Goalkeeper Van Langendonck who will be leaving while otherwise is also expected to play with their best 11. This one should be set up for an entertaining match where more importance is put on offense compared to the defense which also refelcts in the odds as the line is set at 3.25. I at least need to see more and get some confirmation before possibly taking a small bet on that.

Standard vs Charleroi
Standard kind of got them in a good spot somehow as with limited quality and defensive fundamentals, they managed to get multiple hold-ups without really dominating or showing willingness to go forward even of they kind of had to since they always needed to take wins. Today in that sense is no different as they also are forced to take the win but I can't see them all of a sudden go forward like crazy aside mabe for the 1st 10 minutes without being able to keep that up. Charleroi has nothing to play for but this match stays the shocl wallon and there is no pressure for them so I would not be surprised if they play more freely. Standard also tends to have better results on the road where they are not abligated to play offense. I expect a match where Standard shows a lot of energy and willingness to go forward at the start which will die down after which it might become another match where patience is key but when there is no goal should result in an open end again. My 2 leans are Standard to create the 1st corner and for Charleroi to score at least 1 goal. I also expect Standard to push and Charleroi to crawl back in case the score becomes 0-1. for now I'm just keeping all these options in mind for potential in-game bets.
