My Hyperliquid Journey #6 & #7 | A Slow Grind Up ...

IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO TRY HYPERLIQUID, MAKE SURE TO USE A REFERRAL LINK AS THAT WILL REDUCE YOUR FEES!!
Hyperliquid Journey
I haven't really been trading that actively on Hyperliquid as I'm just not sure enough where the market is going in the short term as September traditionally seems to be a bad month. I didn't make a report last week and I also won't make them in weeks where not that much happens. The next step is that I kind of want to use these posts more as a trading journal where up until now, everything has been super random which isn't really a recipe for succes. Especially knowing that this is a platform where for every winner there needs to be a loser while there also are fees which is why the majority loses money.
That said, I'm glad that I managed to grind my way up again in the past weeks without getting liquidates on any of my positions and without the market doing that well.
Week #6 & #7 Trading Journey
I closed my $PUMP 5x long at 0.00348$ which turned out to be a local top before going higner after I got in at 0.00288. This made me a 300$ profit.
I also partially had a Spot position of 200k $PUMP which I got in at both a 0.0034$ and 0.0029$ price with the theory that is was below the 0.004$ ICO price. I still hold this position and it's at a +280$ Profit.
I also continue to hold my 1000 $TON position open which is currently still sitting at a loss and it's mainly costing me a lot of funding rate as I so far paid 25$ to keep it open while it doesn't look like it will break to the upside anytime soon. I originally wanted to take a Spot position but they are not offereing that.
I do wonder if you need to pay a funding rate when doing a x1 leverage so I just asked ChatGPT which confirmed that a funding fee needs to be payed also on those which kind of makes sense as otherwise it would just be available on spot also which it isn't.
I also closed my $IMX trade at a small profit even after playing some funding rate. It was more a whishfull thinking play and the main problem with these is a combination of getting charged a constant fee for having it open combined with the risk of getting liqudated at any given point. That also just feels more likely compared to a randoim crazy pump out of nowhere on coins like that.
Aside from this I opened a small $TAO position mostly because I have been watching that range between 300$ and 460$ a lot always going up when it reaches the lower levels and going down again when reaching the higher levels. Right now this is still around break even and I will keep it open to see where it goes with an eye to close it in case it would go up again near the higher regions.
Watchlist
I'm still waiting for $FARTCOIN to go lower and might set a buy order both on Spot and Leverage at around 0.5$ in case it would get there.

I do have a buy order just above 1$ for $SPX which is close to getting filled.
I'm also looking at $STX which seems to be around a support line and which is trading on Hyperliquid. However, it might just break that line and dip way back down while I have zero info on any of the fundamental.
$WLFI kind of feels similar to $PUMP as it's now trading below the 0.2$ initial investors price. I would need to look deeper into it though before I consider taking a small long gamble.
Results So Far
So far it's been a quite steady grind up despite market conditions.
I have
- 2211 USDC Liquid funds to potentially deploy

- 1394$ USDC in Open Spot Trades
- 467$ USDC in my Staked Hype

Conclusion
I continue to slowly and cautiously grind on Hyperliquid having some funds available to deploy in case there would a a liquidation event. I can only be pleased with how things have gone so far and I'm still having fun with the platform.
If your consistent track record continues, you should open a vault and start accepting deposits :D
I still need to explore the Vaults on Hyperliquid.
Great! I am try with you.
