There are 2 more days of Belgian Football before the winter Break and 4 matches will be played both on Friday and Saturday all broadcast individually. So a busy 2 days but I'm looking forward to some action and will try to stay as focused as possible.
Genk vs Club Brugge
This is an interesting Setup as former Club Brugge coach Hayen now is coach at Genk which gives both a potential coach change shock effect and an inside knowledge effect as Hayen is the best person to know the weakness of Club Brugge. Genk last week under interim coach didn't get further than a 2-2 draw away against Charleroi in an ok match but where they crawled back too much after taking the lead. I still see them as a more than capable team and expect them to get in a good streak at some point to make up for the lost ground and still end comfortably in playoff 1. Their DNA is to play forward but I don't think Hayen from the start will take too much risks as they have shown vulnerable on the defensive end. Club Brugge with their new coach Leko played 2 matches with different faces. The first half away against Dender it again was bad but in the 2nd half they ended up scoring 5 goals unlike under Hayen not crawling back. Last week they won 2-1 against Genk but it again started quite slow and uninspired getting fortunate to score on the 1st goal while despite the 3.32xg which was mainly there because they had to push late in the match. Brugge ened with 10-2 in corners while Genk last week lost them by 8-1. Overall there are a lot of question marks for this match. I don't expect a wide-open match looking how Brugge started their previous 2 games. Taking Genk as the underdog also feels like the only option even though I can't say I can do it with a lot of confidence. Genk has the home advantage, coach change shock effect, good info on how to beat Brugge while Club has not been able to really make a crazy transfromation under Leko especially in the firt halves. Under 3 @ 1.880. If Genk were to take the lead, I most likely will get in on the Club Brugge Corners Handicap also. Genk so far in the leagie at home has been the worst 1st half team which is why I choose for the FT bets on them.
Cercle Brugge vs Union SG
I've been waiting for a long time for Cercle Brugge to get a turnaround win which is what they did away against OHL last week. However, OHL especially in the 1st half was just extremely weak while they crawled back / were pushed back in the 2nd half and constantly just delayed the play no longer playing. So it's hard to now all of a sudden start backing them expecially against a team like Union even though they haven't been too good away from home. Union is without Mac Allister who in the past has shown important in the defense. So at this point, I'm just going to wait and see how the match looks before possibly taking some bets. If Cercle takes the lead, I will be looking to back Union and/or Union on the corners in the 2nd half. For now,

Standard vs Sint-Truiden
You know what's up if even players from Standard after the match interview are saying that they have been playing poorly and it's a miracle that they have that many points. Despite the 9 on 12 in their last 4 matches, I have them rated at the worst team in the league based on their actual performances and I would say this is bound to regeress to the mean. In the past, they used to be a team with a massive home advantage but that effect seems to be gone mostly so I don't really fear that. They are without Epolo and Said who are in the Afrika Cup while Fossey, Sahabo, Homawoo are injured. Stvv has been the revelation this season both in the results and the actual play the put on the pitch. They have also shown the capability to lock a match down when they are in the lead while they maybe don't push enough anymore at that point. They did have an off day in their last away match against Anderlecht who are better than Standard in a match where they still created 1.64xg which is a ranking there they are 2nd this season both in total and over the last 4 matches. At the same time Standard with rather defensive coach Evrard managed to keep their xg against relativelt low at 1.16 over the last 4. Given what these teams have shown, it was a no-brainer for me to take 0.5 units on
Sint-Truiden +0 @ 1.812. I'm tempted to take some more on it but will see just before the match and it also now gives me some room in-game.
Anderlecht vs Charleroi
Anderlecht is a team at the moment that I would say can be trusted and top teams without an European load tend to perform quite well against the asian handicaps. This is the case for Anderlecht especially in home matches where they are 5.5w-2L-2.5P. They played a poor 1st half against Antwerp but managed to regroup and still take a draw at the end. Mainly defensively they have some issues with Camara, Kana, Augustinson who otherwise are starters injured. Charleroi is just 1 place clear of the playdowns and are without a win in their last 5 League matches. Last week at home they showed ok things against Genk who crawled back too much after taking the lead. Their main issue remains the finishing of their chances. In the home match against Union they also showed good things but overall defense on both sides was stronger than the offense. These 2 ok matches despite not taking a win did keep interim coach Cornelis on board. I expect Anderlecht to be much more willing & capable of going forward from the start and For Charleroi to go their chance on the counters. I took 0.16 units on

There is no reason whatsoever to downvote me, these posts are of high quality with 1000+ words and really solid previews that included more winners and a long-term profitable track record which is really hard to pull off. I'm not even making daily posts and don't upvote them myself anymore. I've been a respected member of this Hive community for 8+ Years, I hold a considerable stake, have a good KE Ratio, and these posts earn me barely a couple dollars at best. There is also an audience for this content who reads them but with no need to alwasy make a reply. Again, I don't know what your problem is with me, and I only get loving and supporting reactions when it comes down to this situation ( Link ).
