The ideas were quite good yesterday in the European matches and I did manage to make a bit of profit. At the same time, I kept the stakes at a minimum but I'm looking to get a bit more daring during the weekend already having shared some bets on Discord.

Club Brugge vs Kortrijk

Club Brugge lost the supercup but actually played an ok match given the circumstance. I would say they are ready for the league mostly because the gap they build over the years over other teams is so big. It is often said here that they are becoming the Bayern Munchen of Belgium. However, they lost a lot of quality over the summer with key player Tzolis going to Arsenal who brought a ton of stats and Stankovic also leaving. Onyedika is also gone and Odonez is injured. The player that was fully replaced properly was Mignolet with now Sommer in the goal. When it comes to the other new players, it remains to be seen and they might need some time to adjust. Last season one of their problems was that all focus was on the Champions League since they were good enough to rotate and play on economy in the league knowing they had the playoffs. This season these playoffs are gone so they will need to be there every match. So where they were a losing team against the asian handicaps last season, they very much might become a winning one even with high handicpas. Kortrijk is a newly promoted team after just 1 year in 2nd division but from what I have heard they are not fully ready yet waiting for the end of the transfer window to get new players cheaper. They are expected to be one of the relegation candicates and also newly promoted teams away against top teams always have a hard time while Brugge most of the times does well in their first home match. So all logic points to an easy home win but the -2 line is for me not worth the risk since it's the first match where Brugge might still need some time. I kind of need -1.5 @ 1.85 odds before I would be willing to take Brugge now. So I will wait and hope a situation arises where I still can bet Brugge somehow at a better line and higher odds.
