What a great place that shows so much history. Its great to see such an older structure being taken care of so well. I felt like a king going along with you on your tour of it 👑
Some often overlook what's available to see in one's own country. Sure traveling distances is required to see different landscapes and things. I still haven't been everywhere in my own.

There is indeed no palace like this everywhere, but I see comments like "I wish I would have a place like this..." on posts where I would take photos from an ordinary walk in the nearby woods, or a park... Everyone has that... It's just a matter of going out and exploring!
On the other side, visiting other countries and places is important too... To explore different cultures, to respect other nations, customs, traditions... All that makes us better humans!
I agree and I got that opportunity when I served in the military. On much longer stays than a typical vacation.
