Natural and artificial should coexist with balance.

Natural to me is always the best, but if we really think about it, is that always correct? Because that something is natural, it doesn't always mean that it's right, and it doesn't equally mean that because something is artificial, that doesn't mean it is bad.

Thinking about our bodies and health, in the olden days, our forefathers and mothers used herbs to treat themselves, which was very effective. When I was growing up, my grandma would squeeze bitter leaves and extract the water and give it to us to drink. According to her, it would reduce the excessive sugar we consume. Sometimes if any of us play and wound, she will squeeze a miracle leaf and drop it on the wound, and the blood will cease flowing.

Natural foods like fresh vegetables, fruits, and grains are better for our health than the many chemicals we consume these days. Although it doesn't mean that there is no harmful natural food. Like when I used to go for holiday to my grandma's place, we have a farm where we plant okra, pumpkin, pepper, fruits, plantain, and so many vegetables. Even with that, there is this natural food that we don't consume because it comes in two species and that's mushrooms: we have an edible one and a non-edible one that is poisonous.

Although a freshly squeezed orange or watermelon is better than all this fizzy drink. Although natural food is good, artificial food is not all that bad because without artificial food, we wouldn't have been able to preserve some of our food for consumption, like cake. Artificial has its own benefits too.

Honestly, as much as we use herbs for many treatments, we can't deny that modern medicine has been of help to us, so truthfully, we can't depend only on herbs for survival. Imagine if we depended solely on them. Medicine like injections, antibiotics, or even simple painkillers would not have been made, and many would have died. Hospitals, vaccines, and even surgery are all artificial, but they have saved millions of lives. If someone has diabetes, herbs may help, but what keeps the person alive for some time is insulin. So in this case artificial is equally helpful.

Let's look at the environment we live in. We have the forest, rivers, oceans, and fresh air. Letting the environment breathe at its natural level is good, and they have a way of supporting healthy life. We humans have our ways of tampering with natural things; that's why we have erosion, air pollution, climate change, etc. Things like plastics, which are non-degradable, fuel all these are destroying our planet, but then some artificial things like solar panels, recycling machines, and water filters are also helping us protect nature. Both artificial and natural should just coexist.

We should just be dependent on both artificial, which has its benefits, and natural, which has its own too. Like clearing all bushes and chasing all wildlife into extinction should stop, pushing the river away just to build hotels and houses should stop. One day it might revoke and it won't be funny.
